Cancello Parco Santi Cosimo e Damiano (L. Corevi, Comune di Pisa)The garden is dedicated to Saints Cosimo and Damiano because, before the bombings of the second war world, here stood the church dedicated to the two saints. Today, thanks also to the intervention of some inhabitants of the neighborhood, in this space a public park is hiding, a small romantic garden: green papyrus, cypresses, banana trees, roses, pomegranate, cyclamen... Aromatic plants, such as rosemary and lavender, flood the garden with perfumes... in the centre of the park there is a fountain: all these details make this place a sensory garden. Walking on the north side, we can read on the walls messages painted on tiles together with colourful illustrations, each of them reminding us of a right we all have: right to love, to play, to justice, to be together, to learn...… On the opposite side of the garden there are a small stage and wooden steps for intimate concerts or shows.
