On Wednesday 1 May, on the occasion of Labour Day, all state museums, archaeological parks and cultural sites will be open at the usual times and costs.

• The Museo Nazionale di San Matteo will be open from 9 am to 1:30 pm (last admission 1 pm).

A free guided tour of the museum's collections will be held at 11 am. 

• The Museo Nazionale di Palazzo Reale will be open from 9 am to 1:30 pm (last admission 1 pm).

At 11 a.m. there will be a guided tour to discover the palace at the time of the Medici by the museum staff.

• The Museum of Ancient Ships of Pisa will be open from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm (last admission 18:00).
• The Graphics Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• The Botanical Garden and Museum will be open from 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. (last entrance at 6 p.m.)
