On Friday, 6 December, at 3:30 pm, the presentation of the Coordinated Urban Study of the Pisan Coast will be held at the Auditorium of the Museum of Ancient Ships in Pisa. The research, promoted by the LP Association, offers an organic view of the Pisa coast, in particular deepening the masterplan for Marina di Pisa, with specific focus on Tirrenia and Calambrone.
The objective of the study is to promote a participatory debate on the future of the coastline, in continuity with the principles emerging during the 5th edition of the Biennale of Architecture, entitled "The Shared City", which took place in Pisa last year, and a bridge to the sixth edition of the event. The central theme is the quality of life, with an innovative perspective that sees mankind as an integral part of nature, rather than its guardian.
At the end of the conference will be inaugurated the general exhibition dedicated to the study, set up in the spaces of the Citadel and Tower Guelfa, which will remain open until Sunday 15 December with the following hours:
- Monday - Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. (last entrance to the tower 16:30);
- Friday - Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (last entrance to the tower 16:30).
A second exhibition, which presents a summary of the study, will be inaugurated the following day, Saturday 7 December at 3.30 p.m., at Villa Romboli in Marina di Pisa, and will be open to visitors every day from 2.30 to 5.30 p.m., until Sunday 15 December.
