The Nunziatina, in the historic centre of Pisa, is confirmed as the location for the Luminaria 2023. On Friday 16 June, from 6 p.m., the 19th-century garden of Palazzo Mastiani Brunacci will once again light up with natural lights. Bistrot and lounge bars will welcome Pisans and tourists in an evocative setting, with immediate access to the Lungarni, to participate directly in the events.
500 candle lights will be lit for the occasion, which will make part of Palazzo Mastiani Brunacci, the bar structures and the stage of the summer arena shine.
On the screen it will be possible to follow the celebration in the town and the fireworks, with live television broadcast by 50 Channel. Scheduled, before and after the fireworks, is the acoustic live duo, guitar and voice, of Giulia Pratelli and Luca Guidi, with a repertoire of covers, Italian and international songs from Lucio Dalla to Norah Jones, re-proposed in a personal key.
The bistro will offer sandwiches and Tuscan recipes, for an aperitif or a candlelit dinner. The drink list will also include the new 'historic' cocktails Mastiani, Brunacci, L'inconsolabile, and La soprano, inspired by the perfumes of the garden: liqueurs will be mixed in the glass with essences, fruits and flowers, to pay homage to the protagonists of the golden age of the Mastiani and Brunacci families' Pisan palace.
