From 24 to 27 June back to the Parco delle Concette the XIII edition of the Pisa Chinese Film Festival, realized by the Confucius Institute of Pisa in collaboration with the Far East Film Festival of Udine and the Cinema Arsenale.
The 2024 edition continues in the definition of a new line of research, summarized in the title of the exhibition: Red is Yellow. Thriller, Neo-nor, Crime Fiction according to Chinese cinema. But this year China will be physically present with five titles unpublished in Italy, written, directed and produced by emerging authors of the Chinese scene: these are representatives of the famous Meishi Film Academy (Chongqing University), directed by actor Zhang Guoli, performer, among the many films, in the last Under the light by Zhang Yimou, who is visiting professor at the Meishi Film Academy.
All events are free and screenings are in the original version with Italian subtitles.
