"NavigArte. NavigAzioni fra danza, musica, arti visive alla Porta del Mar", the international, cross-arts festival, promoted by Movimentoinactor/ Con.Cor.D.A and directed by Flavia Bucciero, reaches its XI Edition.
From 8th September to 9th October, the Giardino Scotto and the Porta a Mare district (Corte Sanac), home to Teatri di Danza e delle Arti, reconfirmed for the years 2019-2021 as Artistic Residence of Tuscany, will be the beating heart of the festival. Here with unique and unmissable performances, suitable for audiences of all ages, will perform Italian and international companies such as the long-awaited and prestigious Company of the Czech Republic ProArt of Brno.
The International Festival of Dance, Music and Visual Arts at the Sea Gate, born in 2011, is supported by the Region of Tuscany, the Municipality of Pisa, the Pisa Foundation, UniCoopFI and can count on prestigious collaborations: the University of Pisa (Degree Course in Performing Arts and Communication), the Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli Regional Park, the Teatro Nuovo of Pisa, R.A.T..
The Festival, as its tradition, has a special relationship with the waterways of the city of Pisa: the river and the proximity to the sea, inspired by the history of the city, over the centuries characterized by commercial and artistic relations with other cultures. This year this vocation is reinforced by two locations, introduced in the Festival: the beautiful Giardino Scotto near the Lungarno Fibonacci and the suggestive San Rossore Park.
