The Christmas atmosphere returns to fill the streets of the historic center of Pisa and not only with a series of events designed to cheer the festivities of citizens and many tourists who choose to visit the city at this time of year, organized by the Municipality of Pisa, Confcommercio Pisa, FM Allestimenti and Alla Vigna Group.
To kick off the show, on Thursday 5 December at 4.30 pm in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, an exceptional testimonial: Emanuela Folliero, a well-known actress, presenter and showgirl.
Piazza Don Minzoni will host this year the traditional ice skating rink, decorated with special decorations and lights, while Piazza Vittorio Emanuele until 6 January will host 18 wooden huts of the Christmas Market, where you can buy handicrafts and gifts. In Logge dei Banchi, you will find a special market with 11 characteristic wooden huts, as well as the scenic Santa Claus House, where every weekend children can deliver their letters to Santa Claus to his helper elf. The area of Giardino Scotto will host a craft market, where initiatives and shows will be organized on weekends until Christmas until the Epiphany.
As usual, the 8th of December will be the day of lighting the big tree decorated in XX Settembre square. Other trees and light installations are placed in different areas of the city, from the center to the neighborhoods: in piazza Cairoli, via Fiorentina, round viale delle Piagge, church of Sant'Apollinare in Barbaricina, Cep, Putignano, San Giusto in the green area Elsa Ghezzi, Gagno, Sant'Ermete, Riglione in piazza Pertini, via Bargagna, via di Cisanello, I Passi, Isola Verde via Amendola, Chiesa di San Michele in Borgo, Oratoio piazza Garibaldi, Eliopoli Calambrone, Chiesa di San Sisto.

From 22 to midnight at the Piazza dei Cavalieri - Concert of Elio and the Tese History. Pisa celebrates the arrival of 2025 with a concert show, free and accessible to all. The show will start on December 31 from 22:00 and will accompany the attendees until midnight, when a collective toast to welcome the new year. Then the traditional fireworks show that will illuminate Ponte di Mezzo, with the magic of fireworks that will reflect on the waters of the Arno. But the party doesn’t end there. In Piazza dei Cavalieri will be set up a DJ Set that will animate the square until late at night, offering music and entertainment to greet the new year in style.
