Excursions to the dunes at sunset, bike rides to Bocca di Serchio, guided visits to Coltano and Calambrone, Tarta lab at Lecciona, art workshops on Lake Massaciuccoli, and tours to admire horses and dromedaries in the wild at San Rossore.
These are just some of the events included in the calendar of the Festa dei Parchi 2024: for the entire summer, from June to September, there are many opportunities to discover the variety of natural environments in the Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli Park, thanks to the contribution of the Region of Tuscany and the commitment of environmental associations and local organisations: Legambiente Pisa and Versilia, WWF Alta Toscana, Pro Loco Coltano, Oasi Lipu, La Brilla visitor centre, San Rossore visitor centre, Equitiamo. "In total, more than 35 free initiatives spread throughout the Park Estates to explore, learn, share and respect it," comments President Lorenzo Bani.
It starts on Friday 14 June with 'Dunes at sunset', a visit to the WWF oasis of the Tirrenia dunes, it continues on Saturday 15 June at Coltano with the 'bee circuit', while on Sunday 16 June at the Lipu Oasis of Massaciuccoli we go 'discovering marsh grasses'.
