Saturday, September 30 the Walls of Pisa and the boat on the Arno propose 'Pisa from below and from above': a journey to discover the history of the city from the splendor of the Maritime Republic to modern days, to admire its beauty from two different perspectives and anything but common. From the view from below that is enjoyed by the river Arno continues high with the walk on the high Ancient Walls to the grand finale that allows you to admire the monuments of Piazza dei Miracoli.
Meeting at 14:45 at the Roncioni airport on Lungarno Mediceo, in front of the San Matteo, at 15 boarding and navigation on the river for the 'Tour Lungarni' that allows you to discover the history and architecture of the buildings overlooking the river, recalling 'Pisa as it was' when city life was closely connected to the life of the Arno. At 16:00 always descend to Roncioni to reach Piazza delle Gondole where at 16.15 begins the guided tour on the walls of Pisa to the square of Miracles where the descent is scheduled around 17:45.

20 euro ticket including boat trip with guide, entrance and guided tour of the Walls. The event will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of participants and will be cancelled in case of bad weather.
The event was born from the collaboration between the cooperatives that manage the Walls of Pisa (Coopculture, Itinera and Promocultura) and top5viaggi. Built between the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, the Walls of Pisa are an example of the military architecture of the time, a sign of the greatness of the Republic of Pisa and today a privileged point of view from which to admire the city.
