The Municipality of Pisa has organized a series of training meetings dedicated to tourism and cultural operators in Pisa. The objective is to improve the integration between the tourism sector and the cultural heritage of the city, in particular to enhance the World Heritage site of Piazza Duomo through a greater dissemination of its knowledge and a deeper awareness of its value.  The training course, in collaboration with the Opera Primaziale Pisana, includes four events organized by the company Aedeka scheduled on Tuesday 11, 18 and 25 March and 1 April.

The first event is scheduled for Tuesday, 11 March (15.00-18.00, Balearic Hall, Palazzo Gambacorti) entitled "The site of the Cathedral square, heritage of humanity". Interventions by Paolo Pesciatini, Councillor for Tourism of the Municipality of Pisa, Mercè López Fort, director of Aedeka (presentation of the training course "Pisa Heritage and Humanity"), Chiara Balbarini, art historian ("The Piazza del Duomo in Pisa on the UNESCO world heritage list").

The program includes guided tours to the site of Piazza del Duomo with experts and restorers of the Opera della Primaziale Pisana.
