The European Mobility Week (EMW), an initiative promoted by the European Commission and now in its 22nd year, takes place every year from 16 to 22 September. The campaign, addressed to local administrations and associations, aims to promote change in favour of active mobility, public transport and other intelligent and non-polluting modes of transport.
Also this year, FIAB Pisa, in cooperation with various city realities, such as shops, bookshops, magazines, cinemas, museums and associations, has organised a series of events covering various topics, all free of charge and aimed at the dissemination of the bicycle as an environmentally friendly means of transport, in a framework of environmental requalification (urban and extra-urban).
Collaborators: University of Pisa, Fondazione Pisa, UniCoop Firenze, Royal Victoria Hotel, University Commission for Sustainable Development, Museo della Grafica, University Museum System, Feltrinelli Bookshop, Seconda Cronaca, OpenPi, Cicli Parra, Fogola Bookshop, Agraria Menicagli, Gastone Bini Music Association, Binario Vivo, Arsenale delle Apparizioni, Emergency.
The events were organised with the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa.
